Event Overview

Plan to join us for the 5th Anniversary, October 18-19, 2008 of the BMO Nesbitt Burns Prince Edward Island Marathon!  Participation has increased dramatically over the past 4 years, from 173 participants in 2003 to over 1,400 in 2007and 2008 is expected to attract more than 1500, participants. The Marathon covers some of the Islands most breathtaking scenery, starting in Brackley Beach and concluding in Historic Downtown Charlottetown. The PEI Marathon Weekend has something for everyone!

There will be 7 different categories to choose from:


Aside from the race components, we have many other activities and events planned for participants and non-participants alike including the:

  • Paderno Pasta Dinner
  • Marathon Expo
  • Entertainment
  • Awards Ceremony with Great Prizes!!

We hope to see you there, whether you're participating in a run, a walk, as a volunteer or as a curb side cheerleader!
